President to Saudi Arabia for Umroh

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Thursday concluded his working visit to Istanbul, Turkey, and left for Jidda in Saudi Arabia, to perform the lesser pilgrimage in Mecca (Umroh).
The President and the First Lady and an entourage will be leaving for Istanbul on Thursday at 10 am, or 2 pm in Jakarta.
The President planned to perform the lesser pilgrimage in Madina from July 1 to July 3, 2010.
The President will also hold a teleconference on the opening of the Muhammadiyah conference.

On Tuesday (June 29) the President addressed 800 Turkish businessmen, and at an invitation of the Turkish government made a tourism inspection in Bosphorus Lake in Istanbul.

The Presidents` working visit to Saudi Arabia was to perform the Umroh and as part of his 11-day tour of three countries, namely Canada, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, from June 24 to July 4.

The President and entourage are scheduled to arrive back in Indonesia on July 4.
